LOVED your book! I'm about your same age, Linda, and my husband (from Tennessee, like you) and I have been to Bhutan only twice (so far). It's definitely a place that gets under your skin, in a very good way. Until our next visit, we content ourselves with lots of reading on the subject, and your book is particularly full of understanding and humor. Thank you SO much. Come to Columbus, Ohio, sometime so we can meet you!
Hi Hamanda, Thanks so much for writing. I'm so glad you enjoyed the book! And you've been twice to Bhutan. I LOVED that you said you'd been twice and added (so far). LOL! Hmm, I'd say you're hooked. I'd love to come to Columbus! It could happen. I'll come and help you plan your next trip to Bhutan!
I'm working on getting the book to Bhutan! It might be this summer before that happens, but will let you know on this blog. Are you really in Ura? Lucky man!
Thanks for your hilarious comment and your kind words. If I married the whole country then how can you be cuckolded? Foreigner is truly accurate. If you spend a long time in a country you weren't born in then you begin to be a foreigner everywhere. Not necessarily a bad thing. I'll bet you can relate. Cheers.
Be patient and wait until the cows come home, and yet be mindful that they may never. I cannot even imagine myself embarking upon writing a book! That "one day" is, therefore, a veritable tomorrow that never comes. I'm not joking.
It's MARRIED TO BHUTAN that comes to Europe. Please don't distract me - I'm reading. I'm not joking here, too.
While I'm here waiting for the cows to come home I have planted the seed of you writing a book and now you have to concede that it is within the realm of possibility. You certainly have lots of writing in your blog. It's not like you don't write. Anyway, writing a book is very easy, and can be done in a weekend or two. Joking.

Thanks Kuenzang,

Hi, Linda:
The sneak preview is indeed seductive. Even for a Bhutanese? Yes, and am I cuckolded?
If the title and Chapter One foretell what's coming and how, a rave review is ready and will go to press shortly.
As a Bhutanese, it's always intriguing to read books on Bhutan by any foreigner. (I know 'foreigner' is inaccurate here.)
Congrats!
Dawa Tshering La!

Even if you were married to the whole of Bhutan, I'd still be cuckolded because I'm a Bhutanese.
Oh no! This is terrible! I hope you will forgive me and not hold a grudge :) This cuckoldry was entirely innocent on my part.
I hold divine, and I forgive you, for you are married to Bhutan, of which I'm a national.
No, Mr. Dawa,
You are not a "national" only.
You are a GRAND national :)
I feel certain I will enjoy reading your book one day. Not joking.

Okay, but tell me if you're joking.
