Thanks Sogyel, Not many people know about Bhutan. It's good for Bhutan in some ways, but I think the world should know a place like Bhutan exists. Bhutanese do a lot of things right. Anyway, hope you got a laugh.

@Linda,, Thanks for writing that book, i would love to read ur book. Hope this will help Bhutan in some ways... I sometime think that Bhutan is not isolated but it is hidden land on this World. Thank you very much.

Tshewang, I like that. Bhutan is certainly a hidden land. That's one of the things that makes it so wonderful. It's nice to be hidden while the rest of the world goes on.

Haha, that was so funny, but not surprising. Not many people knows where Bhutan is, and if Bhutan exist in this world. Last semester, a professor was asking where I am coming from, to which I replied "Bhutan". He looked lost, and quickly interrupted me "Is it Island of Bhotan?" (I don't know such Island!) "No, its a landlocked country b/w India and China,"I fired back. "Uh, okay, what is it for? Do they like or hate Americans?" continued with a sarcastic smile. "Oh they like everybody!" I shouted.

Still many thinks I am just another chinese guy! lolz

That's a great story. Yes, we Americans are geocentric and geographically challenged. I read some of your blog, I like your writing, too.

Dear Linda -- I just this moment finished reading your wonderful book. I loved it! This is the one-year anniversary of my trip to Bhutan, and I loved Bhutan as well. I have read several books written by visitors to Bhutan (mainly Canadian or American women), and yours is one of my favorites. You captured the beauty of the people, the country, and the culture so beautifully.

Hi gratitude, So sweet of you to take the trouble to say you liked the book. I'm grateful. I got all tingly reading that you felt I captured the beauty of the people, country, and culture. That's exactly what I wanted to do! Because most people aren't as lucky as you and can't go there. Thanks again. You made my day.
